Day Out For Local Elderly – Almost There…

Thank you to all of you who have very kindly volunteered your time to support our Smarter Giving campaign to provide a summer day out for our local elderly.

We’re now just £400 shy of our target of £1,200, which will help fund mobility buses, a boat cruise on the Thames and Afternoon Tea in Windsor for 35 of our mobility challenged local residents. Plus, to help look after our guests, we need just two more volunteers.

In previous years, the trips have been the highlight of many of these guests’ summers and are hugely looked forward to.

Maybe you could a hold fundraising challenge, such as cake sale or bake off, or perhaps donate the lunch money you’ll save by being off over the Easter bank holiday? Whatever you decide to do, would be a great help!

Please help us make their dream a reality and contact our Smarter Giving Manager, Kate, today to pledge your support.

Event held in partnership with Penfold Community Hub.
