Help Create A Magical Day For Local Elderly

Marylebone based Penfold Community Hub offers a wide range of activities for people over the age of 50 who often need additional help. And one such occasion is a special Christmas day out, which the Hub is arranging in partnership with our Smarter Giving Manager, Kate.

A group of 26 elderly residence from the Church Street ward, an area where we focus our charitable efforts, has been invited on an outing on 29 November to the theatre to enjoy an Old-Time Variety Show with Christmas dinner, but eight volunteers are needed to help escort the guests, many of whom have problems with mobility. If you’d like to volunteer and help make this a magical Christmas day out for some otherwise lonely and, often, isolated elderly, then please do get in touch.

As well as hands on help on the day, Kate and the Penfold Community Hub, need to raise £380 to provide Christmas dinners for the guests. So, if you’d like to help out, but can’t be there on the day, then please do get in touch by emailing Kate.
