Flexible Season Tickets

Following recent lobbying we were pleased to read the proposal for flexible season tickets as part of the Government’s overhaul of the country’s rail services. The flexible season tickets will offer savings on certain routes for those commuting on fewer days or travelling into London on an ad hoc basis.

The flexible tickets are due to go on sale on 21 June for use from the start of July and will allow passengers to travel on any eight days in a 28-day period.

We understand that cost of travel is a concern for the Quarter’s workers given the change in commuting patterns that we’ve seen over the last year. We have been advocating for a new flexible season ticket system for some time now and will bring you further updates as we get them.
