Etna Coffee Pandoro Donation

Baker Street-based authentic Sicilian street food café, Etna Coffee, donated 30 large pandoros, an Italian sweet bread, to local charity FoodCycle Marylebone. The pandoros were used to make a delicious dessert with fruit salad and pear compote.

The FoodCycle project provides free three course meals using surplus food for members of the community in Marylebone every Wednesday, helping to tackle loneliness and food poverty. In addition to this, guests receive a carrier bag of donated bread and pastries plus other essential food items and most weeks there are takeaway containers full of starters, mains and puddings which guests can choose from on their way home.

Donations of surplus food are also welcomed from local restaurants or shops. Financial donations received will be put towards hall hire, insurance, equipment and essential food items (oils, herbs, spices, etc) and will enable FoodCycle Marylebone to continue into 2023.
