Essential Training For 2019

We have two essential training courses this month – both of which are free for members. Firstly, it’s Emergency First Aid at Work on 23 January. A one-day course, delivered by St Johns Ambulance, designed for nominated first aiders in low risk working environments. And then, working with local legal firm Seddons, we’re offering you or your colleagues a chance to attend an HR: Managing Absence In The Workplace, 31 January. This will provide guidance on managing mental health issues as well as employers’ obligations towards employees with disabilities. The hour-long session also includes a useful Q&A on general HR issues.
