BakerStreetQ Incident Alert System

As part of our ongoing work to increase safety, security and resilience across the Baker Street Quarter we have developed a new Incident Alert System to strengthen our communication capacity and information provision in relation to major incidents. Designed for those members responsible for their staff and business continuity, crisis management and emergency planning together with all members’ security staff.

This new system will provide the following for members:

• Communicate, in real-time, major incidents in the area as they unfold, such as fire, gas explosion and act of terrorism, as well as notifying members in advance of planned events such as marches and protests that may affect members business’s and staff

• Access to a hotline to dial- in for further updates on a specific incident

• Access to useful resources in a document library. These include advice on Invacuations, Lockdowns, Bomb Threats and Firearms Attack to help members plan in advance or even refer to during a real-time incident. They are accessible via our app which means they can be viewed offline if mobile networks are unavailable

This system is available to our members, who will receive communications via email, SMS or through app notifications, depending on preferences and the severity of the incident. We have contacted the relevant person at your business, but please do email us if you have any questions or queries.

To ensure you can access the resources and receive app notifications download the BakerStreetQ Incident Alerts App for IOS and Android from your relevant app store.
