A.O.K Family Set Corona Care Challenge

Family run A.O.K Kitchen on Dorset Street has set a challenge to raise £100,000 to stock food banks and to provide nutritious day-to-day snacks, drinks and meals to NHS staff.

A.O.K’s Kitchen is currently creating thousands of meals consisting of individual portions of shepherds pies, lasagne, stews and more, so the NHS staff who might otherwise have difficulty finding nutritional food to eat as so many restaurants and facilities have closed, can have a wholesome and nourishing meal during shifts.

The fund, which had already reached over £72,800, is also helping those suffering such as the immune suppressed, the elderly, single parents, those with disabilities and people that are high risk.
