Immerse yourself in Selfridge’s latest pop-up, an exhibition and retail space celebrating the hypnotic work of Op-Art artist Victor Vasarely and his influence on designers including Paco Rabanne.

Taking place in Selfridge’s Corner Shop, Universe explores the world of Vasarely and his influence on contemporaries such as Paco Rabanne, as well as future tastemakers. See original’s of Vasarely’s eye-popping work, which invite you to lose yourself in a perception bending and multi-dimensional world of colour.

Original artworks by Vasarely will be for sale but if your budget doesn’t quite stretch that far there are also eye-catching pencil cases and tote bags available.

The space is a collaboration with design house Paco Rabanne, which has sought inspiration from Vasarely for it’s Spring/Summer 2022 collection. Iconic Vasarely-inspired pieces from the Paco Rabanne archive are also on display, from psychedelic tops to geometric trousers.
