Look After Your Mental Health With Our Wellbeing Programme

We have all learnt over the last couple of years how important our mental wellbeing is to our overall health, so our popular Wellbeing series is designed to help you thrive at home and at work. We have some fantastic sessions coming up, so take a look and book now…

Local coach Michelle from New Body and Soul is running a free session on women’s health on Wednesday 23 February for women in their late 30s to 40s and noticing changes in mood, weight, energy, periods or confidence.

With International Women’s Day coming up on 8 March, take a break from your work and join our Blue Badge Tour Guide Tina on a virtual tour of Marylebone’s fabulous Women of the Past. This lunchtime virtual tour on Tuesday 1 March will celebrate the lives of suffragettes, housing reformers and medical pioneers who all called Marylebone their home. On IWD itself, we’ll be running another lunchtime panel event featuring some present-day inspiring women of the Quarter. To reserve your place, email events@bakerstreetq.co.uk and look out for more information in next week’s newsletter. Also on Tuesday 8 March, our Love Your Brain session will give you the tools to be more alert, energised and creative. Melody Coleman will offer you three crucial strategies to improve brain function and common mistakes to avoid.

Struggle to get enough sleep? Our Understanding Sleep evening session on World Sleep Day, Friday 18 March, will help you understand some of the science behind sleep and give you tips and techniques to help you avoid restless nights. On Monday 21 March, our regular session leader Laurie Bolger will return for an evening Creative Writing and Mindfulness session to boost your creativity. All you need is a pen, paper and your imagination. Lunchtime Pilates on Tuesday 29 March will teach you the secrets to a pain-free body, perfect posture and a stronger core. Want to learn greater resilience and resourcefulness? Come along to our Connections lunchtime session to create renewed energy and focus on Wednesday 30 March.

This year 100% of participants rated our wellbeing workshops as very good or good and would recommend them to a colleague. All events are free to BakerStreetQ members, and the events listed above are all taking place virtually. For our full events programme, visit our calendar.
