Sustainable Celebrations At Jikoni

Jikoni is hosting a pop-up shop on Chiltern Street and a special dinner event to celebrate the restaurant’s commitment to sustainability. On Chiltern Street, the pop-up shop, sponsored by The Portman Estate, will give shoppers the chance to meet the restaurant founders and buy pieces from sustainable brands and Jikoni limited-edition designs. The designs will be exclusively available at the Chiltern Street pop-up on 26 and 27 June.

Held on 27 June, the celebratory dinner and panel talk will mark Jikoni’s new pioneering partnership with the non-profit Climate Neutral, which will see the Blandford Street restaurant become the first independent restaurant to be carbon neutral. The hand-selected panel, interviewed by fashion broadcaster Mimma Viglezio will include four female fashion founders who are each doing incredible work in the areas of sustainability, reducing waste, and local craft production. Jikoni founder, Ravinder Bhogal, has created a vegan, five-course dinner using produce from a biodynamic farm to mark the occasion. Tickets are available here.
