NEW: Victorian Marylebone Walk
2 May 2019
Join our FREE 45-minute guided walk 24 May, which conveniently takes place on Queen Victoria’s 200th birthday, and discover the impact the Victorians were having on Marylebone during the industrious 19th century.
Our knowledgeable guide, Tina, will take you on a journey back in time to the Victorian age and explore life in Victorian Marylebone. Amongst other interesting titbits from this fascinating bygone era, you’ll hear about the arrival of the steam railway and the hugely popular Glaciarum – an artificial ice rink that was opened on Baker Street in 1844.
If you’d like to maximise your lunch break and grab some fresh air and knowledge to boot, then join Tina outside the 55 Baker Street at 1pm.
