It is relevant to administrators\, practitioners\, staff and managers. \nThe course includes: \n\nWhat is Trans? – trans people from a biological\, social and historical viewpoint\nTrans lives – What is involved in gender transition\, and what issues do trans people face during and after the process?\nUsing the right words – A guide to the complexities of trans language\nTrans people and the law – the Gender Recognition Act\, the Equality Act and more\n\n\nThis training is exclusive to employees of Baker Street Quarter Partnership member businesses. DESCRIPTION:Celebrating the anniversary of Pride\, explore the LGBT+ people and places of Marylebone’s history. \nCelebrating the 50th anniversary of Pride Month\, and ahead of this year’s Pride in London Parade on Saturday 2 July\, join us on this guided walk visiting the history of LGBT+ in Marylebone from rock stars to royalty and royal spies to writers. \nExplore the LGBT+ people and places of Marylebone\, and celebrate Pride Month’s 50th anniversary and you will learn how Marylebone is the proud host of pubs and swish pads that attract LGBT+ legends. \nMeet at 55 Baker Street at 18.00 and Mark will lead you through the streets of Marylebone. \nOne of the largest gay pride events in Europe and the world\, Pride in London Parade is held in early July\, it features over 300 groups and hundreds of floats going from Hyde Park Corner to Trafalgar Square.
