SUMMARY:Fire Marshal Training
DESCRIPTION:This half day (3 hours) Fire marshal training courses is delivered by a professional firefighter. You will learn basic fire safety procedures in the workplace and how to ensure your organisation is compliant with the law. It is a legal requirement to ensure you have an adequate number of staff trained to handle the safe and successful evacuation in the case of a fire emergency. \nThis course will be delivered online. \nFire Marshal Training is exclusive to employees of Baker Street Quarter Partnership member businesses. To check if your business is a member and book onto the training\, email training@bakerstreetq.co.uk \nTerms and Conditions\nWhilst we are happy to offer all courses free of charge\, the course provider does charge us for each place. If you wish to cancel your place\, you must provide at least one week’s notice prior to the course date so we can offer your place to someone else. Failure to attend or cancel within one week will result in your business being liable for the cost of the course of your place.

DESCRIPTION:This Carbon Literacy Training course delivered by Lighthouse Sustainability is to raise awareness of the carbon dioxide costs and impacts of everyday activities\, and the ability and motivation to reduce emissions\, on an individual\, community and organisational basis (Carbon Literacy Project). \nThe Carbon Literacy Project was set up to give everyone\, everywhere\, a day of training on carbon literacy – and in doing so\, empower people to make positive change.
