SUMMARY:Understanding Mental Health Disorders
DESCRIPTION:As part of this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week\, we have invited Kevin Moore from mental health training experts BDLD to come and deliver a 1-hour session for us. \nVery few of us have learnt about mental health disorders from an objective\, reliable source. Think of any disorder and ask yourself “where did I learn what I think I know about it?” \nDuring this session Kevin will cover: \n\nCommon mental health disorders versus severe and enduring.\nCommon myths around disorders.\nNHS treatment.\nSupporting colleagues who live with disorders – the law and available support.\n\nAs ever\, expect a lively session – Kevin is known for his energetic delivery and innovative content! \nIf you would like to sign up to the class\, we are asking for a open donation ticket. All proceeds will be donated to Young Westminster Foundation\, a charity supporting members of local youth clubs and organisations through grants\, training\, and networking opportunities.
