Baker Street Quarter Christmas Giving Appeal
19 October 2020
Bring some joy into the lives of the area’s most vulnerable by donating to our Christmas Giving Appeal.
This year has been particularly challenging for so many families, whilst charities have experienced a demanding time as they try to maintain services with stretched resources.
Your help will make a real difference to your community this Christmas:
‘Adopt a Nursery’. Now in its seventh year, we are looking to support the charity nurseries in our area by asking businesses to donate new toys for young children who might otherwise go without. Check our buying guide for nurseries for more information on suitable gifts here. All gifts must be new and unwrapped. Contact us for more information on supporting families here.
‘Adopt a Family’. In collaboration with North Paddington Food Bank, Greenhouse Sports and St Paul’s Church, you can ‘adopt’ a local family or household currently living in need or isolation and help them have a Merry Christmas. There are over 500 families in the wider area that need support. For a £15 donation you can give a family a Christmas hamper of food to make their festive season special – or buy the food yourself and the Food Bank can deliver. Christmas presents and stockings are also welcome. Contact us for more information here.
All donations should be send to the nurseries and North Paddington Food Bank by 7 December.
Taking part is a great way to give something back to the community whether you are working from home or the workplace. Find out more about how you can help here.
